July 13, 2005 I loved the list of resources for information. I created several checklists for my students to check their work. I can use the web evaluation tool in a limited way (I teach third-graders), but it will help them be more discriminating in their choices. I also like the way I can demonstrate the search parameters.

I will ensure that the technology is used in a practical way, specifically in their method of searching the Web. I also am going to investigate the web publishing tools so they don't have to wait until their personal web pages are finished to see their work on-line.

Since I will have 3 computers in my classroom and an hour a week in the computer lab, I will make sure that I include technology in all core subjects. Even though I love using technology, I sometimes forget to include it in my lesson plans. I tend to treat it as a "standalone."

My big obstacle is, like everyone else's, time. I will have to plan carefully to make sure that all I want to do with technology can be done in the lab, and during the day in my classroom. Can you please get me a computer for each student? I'd love you forever!!!
