Stitches
My family has a boat. It is a fishing boat. It is white and has a big seat in the front, like a gigantic bench. One time I was sitting way up front, near the very tip. There were very big waves that day, and we were going very fast. Then my brother and I shouted “Faster!!” to my father. Just as he did, we hit a HUGE wave. My head banged against a hinge and cut. The hinge was on a door in the boat that covered the anchor. It was right on my eyebrow, just above my eye. After getting to the dock with a towel on my head and feeling sick, I needed to go to the hospital. I did and now I have stitches, the scar covered up by my eyebrow. If you know where the scar is, you can still see it. And I know, from now on, I will NEVER sit that close to the front ever again.

Scars add character! And… you are like your Mom and Dad… a real character!!! Next year, put Dad in the front and you drive. If your Dad drives a boat anything like he did his cars when he was in high school and college, you would be much safer driving!

You may avoid the front but you will still yell "faster, faster..."
I love your self portrait on top...

Chloe,
I like your description of the boat. I felt your pain when you cut your face. You have to stop by so I can check out your scar. Mrs. Ivler

Why did you not go on the front ever agian? if i cut my self on the eye on a anchor i would still go in the front becuase the front is the best part.

I see the scar! I see the scar! I have a scar like that on my pinkie. I slammed my pinkie in a car door when I was very little. But I remember it like it was yesterday.
