America Is… I’m proud to be an American,
Where I know I’m always free,
I know I’ll care for nature,
And help those who need,
I know I’ll always do what is right,
And never what is wrong.
America is people and places,
America is home.

America is blue skies,
Green grass, and rain,
America is blue skies,
White clouds, and country lanes,
America is home.

America is the place I live. It will always be. I love America.

I can’t get over how much your collage looks like you! I think
even if I saw it alone without your name attached I would recognize you.
It’s fabulous. Chloe, your writing is so sophisticated and rich. The
America poem gave me goose bumps and made me feel so proud and good
inside.

Rebecca
Cool it must be very different over there.
My dad went on a trip there not long ago he came back with lots to tell us .
He went to different places too.
And it would be soooooooo cool if we did use real money in the money game.

Very nice job on this poem. Both my parents were in the USAF. I am sure they would agree with the message of your poem. At any given time, there are thousands of men and women of America's military, scattered throughout the world attempting to protect not only our freedoms but also freedoms of other cultures. Our fellow military countrymen would definitely be able to relate to the words and sprit of your fine work.
