First Peek at Baby Panda
This article is about a brand-new baby panda named Tai Shan in the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. Pandas are an endangered animal and it is very exciting when one is born. Tai Shan will be returned to China and put in the wild when he is 2 years old.
I think that it is fantastic that he was born. I think that the baby, who weighs 19 pounds, will be happy when he returns to the wild. I hope that people will help try to save the pandas from extinction. Every step, like a new baby, helps!

It is really good when another endangered animal is born. That little panda is so cute! I think we should do more to help endangered animals too. ;)
