World's first Face Transplant
A partial face transplant has been successfully completed on a woman in France. A 36-Year-old woman got bit on the face by a dog and her face was badly injured and she got a face transplant. The lady needed a nose, chin and mouth. She got bit on her lower face. Doctors say the patient is "in excellent condition" but has chosen not to reveal her identity.
The woman who received the first face transplant had lots of counselling before her operation to prepare her for the end result.
She will now have to take lots of drugs to make sure her body accepts her new features.
I think it’s nice somebody gave her a nose chin and mouth but it’s weird too.
