The Oldest Animal The oldest animal on earth is a tortoise that is 175 years old! This animal was born in 1830.


That’s pretty old if you ask me. Harriet is her name and Harriet just celebrated her birthday in Australia. A couple years after Harry was born people didn’t know if Harry was a boy or a girl. Well she’s a girl. Steve Irwin who owns the Australia Zoo and stars in his own television show, The Crocodile Hunter, said, "I can't see why she shouldn't live 'til 200."
