Last Monday the greatest wide receiver of all time retired from professional football after 20 seasons. Jerry Rice announced his retirement a day after he learned that he made the roster for the Denver Broncos. After he found out that he would not be one of the top three receivers on the team, Rice decided the buck stops here.
At 42, Rice has already captured 38 NFL records including most career receptions (1,549), most receiving yards (22,895), and most receiving touchdowns (197). We will all miss Jerry and his historic career. His drive for success, and his accomplishments, give me hope that thorough hard work I can accomplish anything.

About the Blogger:
I'm a 17-year-old Senior. I like to play basketball and when I'm on the court, I keep the defense skeet-skeeting all over the place. I am in love and I'm engaged but the weddin' ain't for five years.
